# G38 Scholarly and research graph

## Question

Which works, authors, institutions, and citations form the relevant research record?

## Nodes

Scholarly work; Author; Institution; Topic; Source; Citation

## Relationship sketch

* work → author
* work → cited work
* author record → candidate person

## Evidence inputs

Primary papers, public scholarly metadata such as OpenAlex, verified identifiers, original bibliographic sources.

## Implementation

Use scholarly graphs to find literature and provenance, then read the actual work and verify author identity. Retain uncertain matches and separate a paper's claim from its later corroboration.

## Acceptance checks

* Author matches are reviewed
* Cited conclusions match the actual paper scope
* Retractions/corrections are checked where material

## Do not infer

A citation count or database entry does not prove a research claim or a person's credentials.

## Publication boundary

Permitted metadata and citations public; restricted full texts not republished.

## Source basis
