About

About the library

The working method of THATDEVELOPERGUY LLC, written by Joseph W. Anady and published as written, with the evidence and limits of each part stated inside it.

What the library is

The library sets out how websites are kept reachable, understood, measured and cited by search engines and AI systems. It is organized as an operating model, twenty six role charters, cross discipline playbooks, reference modules and forty graph system designs. Each volume states its own status, sources and boundaries; none promises a ranking or a citation.

How volumes are sealed

StatusVolumesWhat it means
Expansion54Current, source linked operating design or researched guidance.
Researched41Researched design, reviewed 2026-09-12: a library view or proposed design with its sources stated; not a deployed system, a live audit or a provider requirement.
New27Current, source linked operating design or researched guidance.
Rewritten9Current, source linked operating design or researched guidance.
Reference9Reference document; its scope and limits are stated inside it.
Baseline2Baseline material retained as a record; not fully fact checked. Current source linked guidance takes precedence.
Rebuilt1Current, source linked operating design or researched guidance.

About the atlas

The map is drawn from the library itself each time the site is built. Each volume is a place and each shelf a realm. Places that link to each other are pulled together, so neighbours on the map are volumes that cite one another. Roads join nearby volumes that really do link; every other link appears when you hover a place. Coasts, rivers, hills and forests are drawn for the eye and carry no meaning.

The mist and the expedition journal are kept in your browser with local storage. Nothing about what you read is sent to the library or to anyone else, and clearing the journal or your browser data removes it.

Edition and review

Library release 2026.09.12-g40 was researched between 9 and 12 September 2026. Each volume shows its publication date and, where the document states one, the date its sources were reviewed. Three source registers record every primary source with the date it was observed.

On 14 October 2026 the library moved to its own address. Its typography was set to house style without changes of substance, and internal preparation notes were removed. Every old address on feedthejoe.com redirects to the matching page here.

What is not here

35 volumes from the release are marked not approved for publication: publication briefs, article drafts, publishing plans and one synthetic example. They stay off the shelves, and their old addresses redirect to the nearest published page.

The original library also holds legacy documents that have not yet had a full factual review. They are not reproduced here. The remaining review queue sets out what is left to research, and the coverage matrix shows how each original was treated.

How to cite

Every volume ends with ready made citations in APA, Chicago, MLA and BibTeX. Cite the reading address of the volume and the release it belongs to. Reference managers such as Zotero read the citation metadata on each page.

Type

Headings and the map are set in the IM Fell types, digitized by Igino Marini from the seventeenth century founts of Bishop John Fell. The text is set in Alegreya by Juan Pablo del Peral, and code in JetBrains Mono. All three are published under the SIL Open Font License and served from this site.
